Cleaning Instructions

Use can as upright as possible. Stains should be dealt with a soon as possible after they occur. Try product on unobtrusive area first for colourfastness and compatibility. If used on skin/hair always wash thoroughly with soap/shampoo then rinse with water. Take care if you have sensitive skin. De▪Solv▪it® is a Pre-wash – do not apply to clothing whilst wearing. Severe staining may require an additional application. Do not use on leather, suede, silk foam/rubber backed carpets, porous hard surfaces such as untreated wood, khaki or fabrics with painted or appliqué designs. (A) Washable Colourfast Clothing & Fabrics - Remove excess staining. Spray onto both sides of fabric and leave for 5 mins – 10 mins for bad stains. Blot area with absorbent cloth. Re-spray area, leave for 1 min and wash item in accordance with manufacturers instructions using pre-wash cycle and highest recommended temperature. (B)Furnishings & Non-Foam Backed Carpets – Remove excess staining. Spray onto a clean dry cloth. Blot stain, working towards centre. Wash area thoroughly with fabric/carpet shampoo. Rinse and dry.
Hard Surfaces – Can be sprayed directly and wiped off when stain loosened. Wash surface with warm detergent solution. Rinse and dry.
Note: Chewing Gum, Wet Gloss Paint, Tar and Shoe Polish – Remove as much as possible BEFORE proceeding to A or B above.
For large areas or stubborn stains, it is always better to apply several applications SPARINGLY before completing A or B.
