Cleaning Instructions

As with all stain removal for the best results always treat the stain/spillage as soon as possible. Always test the product on a small inconspicuous area first prior to full application, for colour fastness etc. If in any doubt do not use the product. Allow soiled area to dry if repeat treatment is necessary.
Washable fabrics including clothing, table linen, removable sofa/cushion covers etc:
1. Using the specially designed tool supplied with the kit carefully scrape off as much of the excess wax as possible. 2. Apply the product liberally onto both sides of the affected area and leave to work for 8-10 mins to allow wax to soften. 3. Scrape off all remaining wax – do not use damp cloth! Blot with dry cloth. 4. Wherever possible, wash item at 50°C using pre-wash cycle. For particularly bad stains, or brightly coloured waxes, repeat treatment if necessary.
Carpets and non-removable sofa covers etc:
1. Using the specially designed tool supplied with the kit carefully scrape off as much of the excess wax as possible. 2. Apply the product to the affected area sparingly and leave to work for 8-10 mins. DO NOT OVER APPLY! 3. Scrape off all remaining wax – do not use damp cloth! Blot with dry cloth. 4. Wash out the affected area using warm water and a proprietary upholstery cleaner, rinse with warm water to remove all residues. For particularly bad stains (such as coloured wax) it may be necessary to extract the affected area using a Vax or similar device.
